Building Bridges to Paradise

Paradise is often considered a place or feeling of great happiness, and holds a unique meaning for each of us. For our adults and children with developmental disabilities, paradise may simply be a visit from their mentor, an organized bowling night, or the chance to create their masterpiece.

This year's event explores the theme of paradise and brings the community together to fulfill the dreams of so many deserving people. "Building Bridges" allows Arc artists to personally showcase their artwork alongside renowned regional artists. The highlight of the evening will be two selected Arc artists painting their personal vision of paradise.

The funds raised assist us in providing emotional, social, financial, and educational support to thousands of individuals of all ages and ethnicities with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout their lives. Our commitment to these special people is infinite.

The livelihood of our organization depends upon your generosity. Please make your tax-deductible contribution today by becoming an event sponsor, giving a scholarship, or attending the event.

Thank you for your support, and we'll see you in paradise.

About the Auction

The gala features more than 150 original professionally framed art pieces from local artists. More than 50 percent of the art is created by our artists at the Arc of the Arts Studio & Gallery (6717 Burnet Road) with the remainder coming from professional donors in Central Texas and beyond.

This year, an original art piece "Bridges on Blue" has been donated from local favorite, Linda Dumont. In addition to the amazing art available, the evening is complimented by a stellar silent auction supported by more than 100 local business package donations and a live auction, featuring other original Arc of the Art's masterpieces.

In-Kind Support

In addition to sponsoring or attending the event, there are many other ways to show your support!

As a donor, you'll be recognized by some of the savviest local businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals who support The Arc's commitment to the community, to assist more than 2,000 families and people with disabilities to live independent lives. As a supporter, you'll be giving back to your community, while receiving a tax-deductible contribution and an opportunity to promote your business and gain valuable exposure to 500 guests. We anticipate this year's event will be better than ever before, and it is our hope that you will consider becoming a partner of The Arc of the Capital Area so that we may continue our mission to care for valuable members of our community and their caregivers.
